I'm doing the touristy thing out here in Ft. Myers Beach, Fl and ran into this Diner by mistake. I meant to stay on the island but missed a turn and ended up going over the bridge to the mainland. We wanted breakfast and saw this diner on the right hand side so we decided to turn in...what a stroke of luck! The service was perfect, the coffee was deep, rich and delicious (they said they grind their own beans daily), the eggs, toast and other breakfast items were equally delicious. The prices were very reasonable, something I am hard pressed to find in this area! Loved this place and am going back today just to get another cup o' Joe!

Amazing biscuits and gravy! 2 friends and myself came here for breakfast and was blown away. We ordered the skillets and alot of side orders and our bill only came up to $40. The service was great and once Marko found out how much we enjoyed his food he personally came over and thanked us. Great food, can't wait to come back.

Stopped by here while in town on business and this so beats the hotel breakfast! Service was friendly and quick, the prices very reasonable. I had an omelette and hash browns and it was like I had gone home to New York. I'll be back!

Nice little diner and you get what ya pay for. Total for three people was $18.73. Kids ate everything!

Honestly... I couldn't have cooked my meal at home for the price I paid.The food is decent and the prices are really great. I usually get breakfast there which runs me about $6 plus tip for eggs, toast, bacon, and grits. The burgers and gyros are also worth a try.

I'm a HUGE fan of Marko's diner. After relocating from Pittsburgh to Ft. Myers I felt lost to find the hidden gems with great (non-chain) food! On a mission to find a local place for breakfast - my husband and I ended up at Marko's! I'd suggest it to anyone - since we found it a month ago we've be back almost every weekend for breakfast!

Stick to breakfast. It is the best item here. Had the gyro sandwich since this is Greek restaurant. It was just average. Too much sauce and onions. Sauce was bland. Also, we had a chicken sandwich with onions and peppers. Also, not much flavor. Came with a slice of American cheese that was slapped on just before bringing it to the table. Unlimited soup was scrap soup. Leftovers thrown into chicken stock. Again, breakfast is good.....stick with it. Disappointed in the other items. This place could use a dose of Restaurant Impossible.

I tried to find the adjectives to help describe Markos... the best my wife and I can come up with is FRIGGING AWESOME.. This was by far the best breakfast I've had. Better than Cracker Barrels, Denny, Mel's Diner, IHOPs and Perkins... and I really like those also. Their sausage gravy is home made. The Greek influence in their breakfast menu makes this one of the best we ever had. My wife had the Greek omelet and I had one of their breakfast skillets with hash brown, ham, bacon, sausage and 3 scrambled eggs topped by their own sausage gravy. It was AWESOME! Also one of the litmus test I use for a good breakfast is .... how good is the coffee? Again... AWESOME. We just move here a year ago and I can kick myself that we waited a year to eat here. Everyone that visits us in Fort Myers will be brought to Marko's for breakfast!!!! Keep up the good work!

I have been back to Marko's several times and have always been thrilled with the food and service. I sent some friends there today since I was unable to go and I don't think I have ever felt so jealous!
